Screenwriter Jennie Snyder adapts best-selling SOMETHING BORROWED into high concept rom-com

How do you adapt a best-selling book into a great screenplay without upsetting some fans along the way? “Don’t fix what isn’t broken,” responds screenwriterJennie Snyder who adapted Emily Giffin’s novel Something Borrowed into the film starring Kate HudsonGinnifer Goodwin, and Colin Egglesfield. The romantic comedy is about two best friends who face off over the same guy. Script sat down with Snyder to discuss the book, her process and all the laughs she had writing Something Borrowed.
